The product range includes polyethylene film laminated to cloth scrim constructions and embossed vinyl backing options, providing different levels of mechanical strength, flexibility, abrasion resistance and surface protection.

• 3M 3900 – Multi-Purpose Duct Tape: A general-purpose cloth duct tape featuring polyethylene film laminated to cloth scrim and synthetic rubber adhesive. Suitable for general maintenance, bundling, wrapping, sealing, protecting and color coding.
• 3M 3939 – Heavy Duty Duct Tape: A heavy-duty cloth duct tape featuring waterproof polyethylene-coated cloth backing and rubber adhesive. Designed for demanding maintenance, repair, construction, insulation splicing and moisture-resistant sealing.
