STK's High-Performance AMA Laminate Insulation is an advanced, flexible three-layer composite electrical shielding sheet. Built with a smart "sandwich" architecture, it tightly bonds a high-dielectric polyester film (Mylar) core between two outer layers of ultra-tough aramid paper (Nomex type).
This multi-layer engineering gives you the best of both worlds. The central plastic film acts as an impenetrable high-voltage floodgate, while the outer premium aramid fibers protect the core from thermal degradation and offer an ideal textured surface that drinks up industrial impregnating varnishes.
